ur students say "This is Our School" to mean that we are all in this together and that we all try to make Summit Rainier a better place. We believe that's true for Rainier families, too. As part of our commitment to making our school and community a better place. Summit Public School: Rainier recommends that all parents or guardians of Rainier students make their best effort to contribute at least 30 hours (Community Hours) per family each school year. Participation is voluntary and there are a variety of on-site and at-home, short-term and ongoing, day-time and evening opportunities that families can participate in. No student will receive any kind of adverse action from the Charter School due to a parent's non-participation.
Rainier's parents and students in the STEP Volunteers committee keep track of the various volunteer opportunities. They offer a wide variety of on-site and at-home, short-term and ongoing, day-time and evening opportunities. See below for more details on ways that you can contribute to our school!
